CB550 Pilot/Air Screw O-Ring Size?
« on: August 16, 2020, 09:46:38 PM »
Last year I only got around to doing one of the four o-rings for that annoying pilot/air (forget the proper term for this) adjustment screws just because the first one ended up taking me like 30 minutes to fish that thing out.  I recall setting the other o-rings aside but lost them in a move.  I'd rather not buy four cheapie gasket kits and/or 4x 16016-KCY-670 (at ~$17/pc!) just to get the o-ring.  Does anyone know the exact size so I can order a bag online?

Looked a little harder, found the bag of the other 3 o-rings.  For anyone who is interested the size is: 4mm ID, 7mm ID, Width is about 1.4mm-1.5mm.

https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Rings-Nitrile-Rubber-Diameter/dp/B07D9N7F7K -- This should be the right size, but I'll have to chance $5 on a bag one of these days and find out. ;)

Check out the O-ring Store.  Minimum order is $1 and they have everything.  Just ordered enough o-rings to refurb all 4 carbs 4 or 5 times for about $10 + $7 shipping.  Got them in 2 days...
