New Owner - 73 CB500 Four
« on: September 02, 2020, 06:14:02 PM »
Hey Gang!

Ventured into the classic bike phase of my life I guess.   Picked up a runner and looking to put a little lip stick on her.   Needs mirrors and some missing badges from the engine, some elbow grease, carbs rebuilt etc.

Not going to make her a museum piece.  It will be used and likely be a rolling resto of sorts.

Looking forward to working on her and reading and contributing to this fine group.

Special hey ya to any Canucks on the board.  Love to know the local parts sources, scrape yards etc.

Cheers!

Sean

Howdy Sean
The 550 is a sweet bike for riding. They were fun lightweight bikes to hop on and buzz around on. I had a 76 750 and was parts manager back then. I bought my wife a new 77 550. And, my dad had a 74 550. Have a blast on it.
