To answer Kevin D. Get a certificate of insurance from your agent. They usually are free of charge.-MD
Nakkers & MD, have you found a decent source for parts in Canada? I am in BC, and all I have found is Fortnine, and there are essentially no recyclers around me in the interior.
Greetings and welcome from a fellow member in the Niagara area.Casey
Thanks for the replies. I posted two separate intro so, my apologies to the mods and members. @ Kevin D regarding insurance. I would consult with your agent or broker about travel to Ontario/Canada in general. It’s my understanding that your insurance coverage insures you across the Continental US and Canada. However, there could be gaps in coverage or a lack of coverage. For instance, you may not have coverage for medical transportation back home or your home state may not pay for medical expenses from Ontario. Many don’t ask and travel without issue because nothing happens when they come to Ontario. If your broker or a gent raises some concerns, I’m sure there are some relatively affordable travel insurance that will suit the bill. Also some employers insurance might provide coverages too. Appreciate the posts regarding parts sources. Would love to find a salvage yard in SW Ontario or Niagara region.
