« on: January 17, 2008, 02:49:13 PM »
Hey, Marko`s back  :D
Been very busy with university, and spent most of the time learning  :-\

Well, i`m back in the search for cb550, in "the cheaper- the better" condition.
I`m familiar with painting and mechanics, so i`m planning to do restouration  :)

It would be great if someone can help me!
I`m from Serbia.

Thanks ahead!
Marko

Welcome back Marko! (not that I actually remember you..............)  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Offcourse not. There aren`t any here.
I`m ready to import it, if it`s not too far away.
With current import rules, there are no ecological normatives for motorcycles, so this could be my only chance...

I heard that Craigs list is a haven for dodgy EBay sellers who get kicked off Ebay, so be careful..........  ;D

I'd look for a bike VERY carefully.  theres an 04 ZX10 on ebay right now, that I'm sure is stolen,  I know the seller, and he's full of __it.   just to give a perfect example  of the risks.

That said, you can find a great bike, depending on what you're looking to purchase, and how much you wish to spend or where it comes from, I MAY be able to try and help you out.

Hey! I resemble.....I mean resent that! I have bought and sold on craigslist without problem but the purchase has always been face to face, not an importing deal. I probably wouldn't trust a craigslist seller to export a bike for me.
There are old bikers and there are bold bikers but there are very few old, bold bikers.

Not doing what you can to make your bike ride-able during the best riding months of the year kind of defeats the purpose of owning it in the first place.
