1977 CB550K TUBE ASSY., DRAIN 17358-341-000 Replacement?
« on: August 24, 2020, 09:45:35 AM »
Hey everyone, I noticed there is a crack in the tubing for the air box blowby hose at the bottom of the air box on my 77 CB550K.  Honda part number is 17358-341-000 but is NLA.  Normally, I would just get some heater hose for this, but it has that odd bell shape at the top of the hose.  I'm assuming someone out there has found something from a newer model year and trimmed it to fit?  If yes, what part can I order?

The CB550 Assembly Manual stickied in this forum mentions using a longer hose, trimming to length, removing the little foam filter, and finally installing a drain plug.  So I guess this user found some replacement part for it.

I should also mention that I have noticed the actual plenum drain hose by the air intake boots is missing as well.  It appears to be part number 17335-323-000 and I see jtmarks77 has it, but was curious if anyone knew again of a modern replacement part number I can just give to my dealer and cut it to fit.

You can use the same hose on both. Scroll down to the air box section in Ron's thread. He shows how he did it.
