#1 anyone have or know someone that has a good set of carbs for sale, for premium price.
if they're in fair condition i pay fairly good price.
#2 does anyone specialize or know someone who specializes in head rebuild. valves and seats, guides priority. cam and followers as long as they open the valves and the valve seals when it closes is also a major plus for priority. option 2? is it even worth it to think of that kind of work if after all the cam is out of round (like all the ones i've ever seen) and the lobes and rockers are all 40k plus miles worn? or dig the carbon out and just clean up the seats change seals and not even look at the springs and run it? it's a catch 22, to me. i'll even buy a head that's decent, southern california is where to mail the 2 parts. gotta be someone around that has those things just collecting dust. thank you.
