« on: August 31, 2020, 08:33:00 AM »
I thank I have seen where someone makes these and side covers too. I have looked and found side covers but not the airbox. Can anyone give me the info on where to get this?

I have a DSS set and a Yamiya set. A set of brackets and bolts from an early corrugated air box (71 or so) will work unless you have a 2 bolt sandcast air box. And then I'd assume they can be made to work. I like to fashion a stop on the wing bolts so they can't be over tightened and squeeze the box. I think I used a nylock nut.

Yamiya has the K0 airbox but they say it the same plastic as original. I do not want that because when gas got on my original it warped and cracked terrible.

Was not entirely happy with the UK one I bought, in particular the way the 2 halves joined together.
That was about 10 years ago, maybe they are  bit better quality now.

JT usually has Yamiya parts, he will sometimes amaze me with his options of used, Yamiya or nos.  That reminds me I need a red seat foam.

I've owned four K0, every original airbox was cracked and warped, Yamiya parts are high quality.

I bought four, none came with girls.
If you can make better parts at lower prices have at it.

I’ve used a Yamiya ‘box and it is superb. Also bought many NOS parts from JT Marks, and never been disappointed. Excellent service and fast shipping. You can save a few dollars by dealing with him direct (via email), not EBay. He usually includes contact info with your first purchase......
