Hello from Santa Cruz
« on: September 17, 2020, 10:10:57 AM »
Hi,
My name is Dave and I have been enjoying this site for a while and thought it's about time I did an introduction.
I started riding in 1975 on a CB550K1 and have since owned a CB500K0, CB175K4, a CL360K1, and most recently acquired another CB550K1 just like my first.  I enjoy doing my own wrench-work, and these old Hondas give me a chance to keep some of my old mechanic's skills up in an age of computerized vehicles.  I presently have the CB550 and the CL360, and I like to keep them mostly as stock as possible.

Glad to be here,
Dave

Howdy Dave welcome aboard from down in Oceanside. That's a great looking 550. I remember them well as I was a parts manager back then.
I started with my own bikes on a new 74 CB450, then a new 75 Cb750 K5 and a then 76 CB750 K6. I did buy a 77 CB550 for my wife at that time. Fun bikes for weight to power and handling.

Thanks to all for the welcome.  I've really been enjoying this site and the wealth of information on these great old bikes.
