CB 550 rubber puck install question during top end rebuild
« on: September 21, 2020, 08:55:28 AM »
Hello all,
I feel silly asking this but.....when installing new rubber pucks on the head which side of the puck do you butter with sealant to ensure no leaks there.....the side that faces the open air or the side in the engine.....or both?

If I recall correctly, the sealant goes just under the puck which would be the side open to air. Be sparing,
