The new owner of Home Wrecker is about to pick up the bike
« on: February 19, 2007, 06:51:31 AM »
I think I am going to be sick. Just because I have poured so much into this bike. I have talked to the guy several times and I know it is going to a GOOD HOME. If I am not sick before, I will be after the formalities and loading it. :-[

Don't get me wrong, I am glad it sold. I just poured heart and soul into this bike.

Yes I will be hooking him up with this board, so play nice  ;D

I have a lead on another bike in MN, so I will hit the ground running and go pick it up tonight. I think it is time to start another "build thread"  ;D Lets see how fast I can hit finish correctly.  ;D

That's about 1.5 hours from me. What's the next project, or are you waiting till it's in your hands before you share? :)

I'll just say that the name of the project is RABIA and is a later model SOHC 750. I will start the thread the moment it comes home. Waiting to hear back from the owner. ::)

And I know it is a dumb question seeing that I have shipped to ya. Where the heck are you located in MN?

Tom,  I suspect you'll have an easier time marrying off your daughter!  (That's coming from Abu B'nat as my Arab colleagues called me, with only daughters to show for my efforts.  ;) )

My wife already cleared it off My Ebay.  What did it go for?

I have experienced a great deal of angst when selling my Guzzi and especially my R65LS that I bought new in '82.
Weird how you get attached to "things".
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!
