Did anyone buy them and they not have the resistor wired in already?

None I have ever bought or used had a resistor or needed one.

ok just wondering, I was looking at different vendors and they have options to buy it with or without it installed. On revivals site during their tutorial it says not to cut it off, so im assuming they only offer that one version of it.

Mine came without one and was just making sure I didnt get a knock off or something bc I purchased off amazon.
