Thank you, Wilbur.
Do you have picture of the frame under those cases? Also how do you attach them?
I am really happy with the way they turned out. I figured I would have to do a write up (with pictures!) of the mounting brackets, so I'll try to do that soon. There are only three pieces that form the supports for the side bags. There are two more crossover brackets to support the trunk. The main supports are stupid simple, just a piece of 1-1/4"x1-1/4"x1/8" (maybe 1-1/2", I'll have to check) angle on each side. This is attached at the upper shock mount and the rear fender bolt. I was not able to use the stock grab rail but did have to use a spacer to align this mounting point with the upper shock mount. Another 1"x1"x1/16" (or 1/8") tubing for a crossover torsional brace between these two pieces of angle above the rear fender just in front of the taillight. A piece of the 1"x1" square tube was welded to the underside of each angle, near the rear, to provide a third mounting point for the case and to stabilize the lower part of the case. A simple bracket to lock the case to the bike that uses the padlock on the case latch. Remove the lock, lift the bracket, and the cases lift off, no tools required to secure or remove the bags.

It took me at least two weeks to figure out the design and only an afternoon to fab it up.
