  My new buddy that has a tire machine and can be bribed with beer, fixed the flat, it balanced back up and spins true. Probably more true than before, we'll see if it handles OK next.
  He also mounted the Metzler block C tire on an A model aluminum rim that will hold up the front of the drag bike frame. That leaves the A aluminum rim set with the big tires that came on the K2 yard sale parts bike recently, they may go on the Louisville bike to replace the 16" hog rear.

 The yard sale A rims mentioned above are now on the Louisville bike, they're getting new Dunlop 404's tomorrow. The nugget spent winter in the race trailer in storage with the Dragster, the Yamahopper and our golf cart. I rolled it out and put it in the shop today, no battery at the moment.

Don…. I have an extra set of 1975 GL1000 wheels. They are pretty rough, but the rims would polish up. Do you think they are the same as the cb750A and would they lace into cb750 hubs/ spokes?

They will both lace up with the correct spokes.
The front is the same size as the 750.
The rear is either 17" or 16" on the wing.

The rims and spokes are identical between the gl1000 and cb750a
If it works good, it looks good...

I have a few extra cb750 hubs I can polish and with a new set of spoke those GL1000 rims might see the road again.

75' CB400F/'bunch o' parts' & 81' CB125S modded to a 'CB200S'

 Sorry for the lack of replies, I was tied up with election judging.
 Yes, there are 17" wire rims on the early (76?) auto's, the drum brake is cool with a wear gauge and the swingarm is a bit longer and wider than early K's. It even requires a longer axle with fatter spacers and early looking chain adjusters, except they are thinner. A feller could stuff a pretty fat looking tire under one.
 The 19"x 2.15" A front aluminum rimmed wire wheel uses a 78K type hub without the fins in the middle and a late type speedo drive. Both are an easy bolt-on. I've been able to find them both on ebay and behind a guys garage.

 I wanted to stretch the nugget's legs a little, but the #1 carb decided to be a little pissy. I put it on the center stand and ran the carbs empty a couple times to get some seafoam in there and tonight it seems to have worked.
 Clean idle and no leaking. I need to slap a plate on this one and the Louisville bike to get a few miles on it.

 The #1 carb is acting up again, I'll take it apart, clean out the float valve check for overhanging gaskets and re-check the float level.
 The throttle has some extra play before it moves the slides, so I ordered 3 new throttle tubes for the single cable and a replacement right control bottom from Yamiya. Yup, they sell just a K0 single pull bottom part of the right control. I also got two sets of grips.
