best way to search is to get yourself a copy of the partslist for your bike, look up the parts number and then punch it in an internet search.

truth is that I'm more than lost on this bike, now another problem arises and I think I'm fat ...
I bought the original footrests and when I went to place the one on the right side of the motorcycle (where the gear change goes) the screw where it fits did not give me to put it, it is too short, I think someone cut it in his day for some reason.
my question is if anyone knows the measurement of this intern, mine measures 30 cm ... or the same 11.8 inches.
If someone knows the size of this I would like to know it since I am going to make one with a steel rod and so I could tell the turner to make it like the original ...
I attach photos, although they are in cm it is to give you an idea

550F rests are not on the same bolt. The right side fitted on the boss just below the swing arm bolt. Shown in pic 3 of the pics you posted on 1st November. This right footrest was only used on the F and not on the K versions. The footrest folded up to allow kick starting. So you probably have the correct bolt.

So, does anyone know where the footpegs of the F model fit, I have been looking in the manual that I downloaded but it is not clear. Before telling me anything, I thought that the strive on the side of the gearbox (left) was hooked to the bolt that acts as a through-hole of the engine.
If anyone has photos of where the footrests are fitted I would appreciate it since as you can see I am lost

thank you. is that I have been looking online and through the forum and it had only created more doubts, now thanks to your photos I see that the footrests, the one on the right side goes to the coupling that brings the chassis (attached image) and on the left side it goes to the screw that holds the motor ...
Luckily you have given me the photos because what a head feeder.

Hello everyone again, today searching through the material that they sent me with the sling I have seen a piece like this from the photo that I attach, I know it is from the cable of the revolution counter and the odometer but looking online and for the manual that I download I cannot find anything, I know it is from those 2 cables because I have seen the piece on eBay

I dont understand the question? Are you looking for this part?  Not available from Honda.

no, I have that piece in the garage, it came to me disassembled from the motorcycle and I don't know where it is located on the motorcycle. I know it's something to do with the odometer and rev counter cables, I think, but I don't know where it goes exactly. that's my doubt...

Thank you very much, right now I'm very busy at work and with the guzzi (which is the apple of my eye) but I have found pieces and pieces in the box that the other owner sent me and I don't even know what they are for.
I have spoken with a painter friend and he will try to paint everything in the original orange color, to see if when it is painted I can upload more photos

Hello everyone.
This week I was closing the electrical harness that I have made myself, the motorcycle worked perfectly and did not give any fault until suddenly it began to blow the main fuse just by hitting the ignition ...
I began to undo the harness and with a multimeter look for the source of the short circuit until it reaches the regulator. I think it is wrong since it continues in all the anchors.
I leave you a video and let's see if someone can tell me something before buying a new one, lest I be wrong ...
this bike leads me astray !!!

I have looked online if it is normal for there to be continuity between the 3 cables of the regulator and I think it is not normal.
When I studied my professional training in electronics I think I remember that electronic regulators could not give continuity between them 3 nor exaggerated measurements of ohms.
I think the regulator has gone to heaven.
although using logic it does not make sense that the continuity regulator between ground and positive ...

Hello everyone.
I have already found the problem with my Honda, the previous owner had made a connection in the rear light that made me a short with the chassis mass ... luckily the regulator has not suffered damage, I thought that the continuity between the 3 points It was not normal but you can see that it is.
I have adjusted the regulator as the manual says and at 3000 revolutions the motorcycle charges at 13.2V.
now I'm going to close the hose and make everything presentable.
the neutral diode has blown due to the short but I have already taken one, while to start the motorcycle I make a bridge from the red-green cable to the chassis ground.

Hello everyone, I have been busy these months busy giving touch-ups to the electrical installation and peripheries.
I have got an original handlebar, an original pineapple and the fender of a Honda 550 in Spain, all very cheap
Well today they gave me the tank and painted covers, the color is not the original, it came from a cover that I had from the motorcycle that was orange.
I personally like it, the photos don't do it justice. The tank is in bilayer paint, so the stickers are lacquered on top.
My intention is to leave it as original as possible without spending a lot of money, since the Guzzi takes all my salary, because I still have to pass a registration as a historical one that will look at almost all the details of the motorcycle, for example someone's fender I cut it back in its day, and the rear light is welded, the exhaust is handmade, the seat is a 500 ...
Now I leave you some photos, but they do not do justice

Hello everyone, after finishing the aesthetic restoration of my motorcycle, now I have a problem during the carburetion.
I have measured all the exhaust manifolds with a laser thermometer, the 1,2,4 has a temperature that varies 10 degrees between them while the 3 cylinder has a variation of 60-80 degrees.
I don't know if anyone knows what it is due to, if it could be carburation, synchronization...
also say that the bike sounds like an empty piston from time to time.
I will do the ignition and valve adjustment again to see if things go that way.

Hello....is #3 exhaust 60-80 less?  If yes, sounds as if it is not firing.  Did you check spark on the plug?   How old are the caps?  Did you clip a short amount on the plug lead to be sure you have a good connection?

I have made sure that all 4 have a spark, when I raise the bike to more than 3000 revolutions, cylinder 3 has a temperature of 110-120 degrees while 1,2 and 4 have a temperature of 180-200.
I have to say that I notice some vacuum explosion, like the bike goes up a piston but it doesn't explode.
spark plug caps are all new, new plugs...
After lunch I will go to clean the 4 spark plugs in case they have too much gasoline deposits.

Looks like your plugs are wet fouled, maybe your carbs are too rich. Did you rebuild them with aftermarket carb kit? [cheap china?]  Motor does not sound good, but need to take it a step at a time.  Once carbs are properly rebuilt, need to check timing and then a carb sync [or did you bench sync?]
