Been a Honda fan since 1962 when I was saving up to buy a CB72 ( then £250 new ). Working in school holidays for peanuts, I got as far as £20 and bought a Norton Dominator - rode it around the local lanes, underage, illegally.
Have since had many Hondas', including RC30 and RC45. Now down to 250 Superdream for shopping , VFR 750 for long runs ( had that 23 years ) and my recent addition, a CB550f that has needed a bit of TLC for which this forum has been very helpfull. Traded a C95 for it.
Have C95's in bits, CB77 in bits and a C72 - also in bits !.
Also a selection of British bikes : 2 Triumphs, a 500 and a 750, a Norton rotary and a Royal Enfield Constellation.
I think they will take a back seat next year as the CB550f is such a pleasant little thing and suits my arthritic hips !
Roll on next summer.....
