Hi thanks for adding me to the forum, 1980 cb550 not for the purist but I like it Merseyside uk england and as a note I have recently been ill and my spelling and typing can leave a lot to be desired please bear with me

From your picture you have a 1977 or 1978 CB550 not a 1980. The CB550 end production in 1978. Yes yours may have been titled there in the UK as the year it sold(as a left over model) but was manufactured in late 1976 to early 1978, for either a 1977 or a 1978 model year.
As to where to ask your questions, I also have wondered that as that myself as there isn't clear instructions as to that in the descriptions. My guess is sohc/4 bikes.....
