Maybe we can tie in a Ganaraska Trail Ride too! Hoping for better times in 2021!

+1 for better times
I’m dreaming this all now.

This will be tougher:
350 on the expressway + a ride through GTA on a Friday afternoon.
That’s about double what I do on a big day on roads that I know.

I got to say that is sounding pretty nice , and generous.
We have had get togethers before, and finding a place for the group to overnight , in a somewhat enjoyable atmosphere , can be a bit of legwork... it's not a huge amount of people but it sure is fun..
A bit far for me, likely can't get there but who knows..
For me ..up till now anything past Drumhellef has been the Far East..

I really like this idea!  It's been a while since I've been to Canada for a reason other than work.

Definitely penciling it in, depending upon weekend (Single dad responsibilities).  Looks like about 300 mile expressway ride from the Flint area.

It may be a good idea for those of us coming from/through the MItten to maybe group ride over?  Maybe leaving in a way not to hit GTA during rush hour, although the last time I was there it didn't seem to matter the time.

Assuming normality returns, daytime cross GTA traffic is tolerable from 11 to 2 on weekdays assuming no crashes and no major closures for construction.
Currently traffic is very light (relative to last year), but if this continues next year then the border will probably remain closed and a gathering like this prohibited.

We’ll watch the news and hope for better times in 2021. Assuming we target later in the year, this is definitely possible. I’m looking forward to it!

Take the 407 toll road bypas.Skip the Toronto insanity and the 407 gets you almost all the way to John’s place.

Do motorcycles catch a break on the toll? Think I saw $61C weekday, rush hr, car, one way.
Is Orangeville-Newmarket-Port Perry feasible?
Probably best just to pay the piper.
I’m OK with a group ride, although you might not like my style: I mostly ride like the GHOF that I am. :) :)

Orangeville Newmarket Port Perry is the way I go, much nicer ride. Dont know about the toll costs, maybe you wont even get any if you are from the US. Dont know how that works..
