I think I'm almost due to having an assistant care giver with me, not only did the turd eyes break the stat or case, but the headlight bucket has a bunch of chips all around the left side. And now the tach light is out. I did talk to a sheriff about getting the video (usa gasoline) either released or viewed to get the scene unfolding. I know the kid picked up the light housing chips so i would not see them, and the sheriff said to go the station and fill out a paper to get a file, he said a report wouldn't fly because they weren't called. So i said "so if it happens again give you guys a call?" And sure enough i get the same preferential treatment that I've always got, he said no, unless the other party doesn't want to exchange info. He started saying because they really couldnt verify what i claim, that's why i would like to open that file with the video. That was 1:50pm, at 2 I'm rolling up at the station. The clerk, or secretary picks up her jacket and lunch box and says "I'm going home." So i say so come back tomorrow, she said she doesn't know if any one will be there. I got hit on a mountain bike rolled down the side of the guys wide open ford bronco breakin the mirror off. 2 eyewitnesses both had the license #. I'm bleeding, my bike is bent. 4 or 5 black and whites show up, take a report, they were training a new cute officer girl. I called em 6 months later to get an update. This is what he said. Well we found the guy, in Culver City an hour and 1.5 away. Said they talked to him at his girlfriend's front door. And he was driving her truck and he said that he stopped to see if i was ok. And then he left. My question to this sheriff was since when is felony vehicular hit and run with injuries, and property damage voluntarily optional in california, he said he'd run it by the DA and see if they'd want to do any thing about it. Never heard back. And it was during an elevated caseloads of bicylist and pedestrians getting plowed, and left in street. I had a spare alt and case. But i need another one now. Anyone got one in good shape? And a head light bucket? I got good $. Or couple things to trade. A factory near mint condition 750 or a 1000 seat, i has 1 cut about an inch lick long somewhere around the bottom rear pan fold. Also a dual cylinder brake calipers and lines. Reservoirs, and peddle. No discs. Pads and master cylinder.
