Engine crash bar mount puzzle
« on: November 24, 2020, 03:28:33 pm »
Does anyone know these crash bars and can tell me how the left side mounts?

It has a two bolts vertical mount for the left side and the only way to mount would be to use an additional piece bolted to the frame.

Any thoughts it would be much appreciated.

If those were made specifically for a 1977 cb750K7, the left upper engine mount is NOT a welded lug. It’s a fabricated fitting, that mounts through bushing (two short tubes, welded through the frame). That plate circled plate looks like the bolts would fit through it.

Interesting you say that because they came from a K7 that was imported from the USA to Australia. I have a K7 here and the mount isn’t like you mentioned but it’s a 1978 Australian model. Do you have any photos of the mount can share?
