need ideas for painting on tank emblem and side covers
« on: December 13, 2020, 03:31:06 PM »
I have a 1978 cb750k that im turning into a cafe racer, It wasa cafe racer prior so im not taking away form a nice original bike.  the theme im looking at doing is with the same tank and seat pan as this build

Im going with mineral grey pant with a stripe down the tank and rear or black with a mineral grey stripe, not sure yet. At my friends Classic Car Restoration shop they have a air brush specialist who recommended instead of the hard emblems is to airbrush the tank emblem and side panel script on, maybe faded , ghosted or other. either way  i want something simple and tasteful,  probably the honda logo on tank ,  750 script on side panels or something else. any ideas or images that have been done that would give me ideas would be greatly appreciated, i find the best way to get inspiration is to get other ideas from people
