Thanks mate, I’ll be interested in seeing what treasures you dig up! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I met a guy that bought out a lot of old shop stock. He lost a barn full in a divorce, had to sell it at auction. He was years ahead of the curve but quit doing it years ago. I had recently retired to do a job that vaporized and didn't know if I could afford to go to the sale.  I should have found out about his stash sooner.

Wow, now there's some treasure! There's a guy on Ebay trying to sell a RHS K0 handlebar switch (used, but in very nice condition) for $300.00 USD, I honestly thought about buying it for my K0, but the Yamiya switches are such good replicas I decided against it, but that there has gotta be worth $500 USD to the right buyer?

Same/same for the gauges, especially the K1 speedo, that's rarer than rocking horse manure! Somehow I've got a new old stock tail light that I didn't use on my K0 so it'll go on my K1 build, I'm not sure if they're that rare because they used them on lots of models, but still a good find, for sure. Well done mate, I hope you can either use them on one of your builds, or make some money out of them! ;D

K1 cost more due to the small production, right?
But less bikes to be restored..

K2 was produced 1972-75 for Europe.

The K1 had the largest production volume of units then any other year. If I remember I think it was like 77,000 but sure I can be corrected. They were pumpin' em out big time that year to meet demand.

I used to buy K1 gauges reasonable on ebay when my K0 had them on it. I'll need to have a look and see what's in the box. I made a ring prying fixture out of oak to work on them. When I found K0 gauges that I could afford I almost fainted. A speedo from the Sandcast site and a tach from a generous guy on here. I got a pair of covers from ebay and ended up with enough to supply the poo brown K0 I got last year.

I think the most interesting part is the “black top” RHS bar switch. These have not been available for years. I compared it to the Yamiya switch on my K0 and there are very subtle differences (not enough to warrant a swap). I wonder what it’s really worth? May put it on EBay just for fun!

Compare it to JTMarks stuff. If it were me I'd start at $500 or set the reserve at $500
