I don't know House Rockers, I thought that bike was by Super Build Maximum in Japan about 13 years ago.

Could be Marchesini:  http://www.marchesiniwheels.com/en/pages/default.aspx
A coworker years back showed me one, it was like 2 or 3 lbs compared to 11 or 12 for a stock wheel.

That build looks similar to RCM Japan.  The wheels look like Marchesini.

here is rundown for that bike - the only thing I dont like about this bike, or think is really weird is how they mounted the rear shocks..im sure there is welded support we just cant see...this is pretty much my dream 750. there are videos of it on youtube, they are cool lookin...very robust.

hands down the best headers for a  SOHC are yoshi style hand bent headers - NOTHING. BETTER. LOOKING. IMO.

Yoshimura built several style headers for CB750's, the original "stove pipe" copies that Yamiya sell look horrible, but the later OEM Yoshi's that I had on my K1 that I sold to another member here with nicely curved bends looked much nicer, although I like my Delkevics better still. Looking at that parts list, it says "Yoshimura carburetors", to my knowledge, Yoshimura never made carbs, so I'm guessing that was a typo? They look like Mikuni's to me, but I could be wrong?

The shocks are laid forward to raise the rear slightly, and quicken the steering for racing. Not a real good mod (apart from looks) for road use, as you lose some stability, but great for racing. Nice looking bikes, and the thing I like about them is that they're not "All show and no go" like most Cafe Racers. My opinion is, if it looks fast, it needs to go fast too. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Terry, those carbs are Mikuni TMR modified by Yoshimura...as the flat slide raises it exposes more and more emulsion holes that are actually in the needle itself introducing gas vapor directly into the center of the airstream...better check them out.  M. Rieck had posted some demonstration/explanation videos sometime in the last year or so.
If it works good, it looks good...

Thanks Sean, I don't ever remember Yoshimura making carbs, so maybe "Yoshimura Modified Mikuni's" would be more appropriate? I've seen yoshimura cams and yoshimura exhausts, but (rightly) never saw Yoshimura carbs. ;D

Mikuni TMR with a modified needle by Yoshimura, Multi Jet Nozzle
https://www.bikebros.co.jp/vb/sports/sfeat/yoshimura-carburetor-en/

My K6 has the std Mikuni TMR 32 with filter adapters, KN pods.
If I replace the needles and a few parts more they get MJN spec.
Yamiya750 sold the MJN for CB750. Bigger than 32mm might be too much. I think 36mm is next.
(TMR 32 work fine with 836-1000cc).
Webike might have.
I found mine in Germany
https://www.bikeside.de/MIKUNI-TMR32-flat-slide-carburetor-for-all-CB-750-Four-69-78

I doubt my bike will run that much better for the MJN price increase. A racer might like the smoother transition during the pilot- middle range as Yoshi developer explained. A hollow needle with multiple holes spraying fuel all over the open port.

Terry, you dont remember these because they are brand new tech.

You're right Sean, they look lovely, but the price, as expected, will put me out of the race to have the first set in my street, not that anyone in my street (or suburb, probably) rides a CB750. Still, if I win Tattslotto this week, I'll buy a set. ;D

SO0O0O my chrome vinyl wrap came in and i tested it on a scrap frame.

I've never used this stuff and I did it in about 5 minutes because I just wanted to see something done before I left the shop. There are a bunch of creases and bubbles but I didn't attempt to take them out with a razor. I was also using too much heat with he gun and messing it up.

Im going to go for it lol.

-its easy to hide splice work because its highly reflective.
-this is the hardest part of the frame in my opinion so if i can master this area I think the entire frame will be easy.

Getting back on this now that my buddies bike and my touring bike are finished.
Finally spray bombed it yellow to decide the appropriate route for this project, also going to settle for a chrome powder coat for the frame. The small cafe racer fairing pictured below will get painted as well along with a belly pan that may force me to choose an exhaust that hugs the underside of the bike better.

Im not sure which allens to use for the fork stops the front end will get removed and drilled on the lower triple this week and finish the alignment of the rear wheel. Rearsets and rear brake hardware need to be sorted then I can send this out for paint.

Ive been searching for kayaba forks that are used on the House Rockers builds, they use magnesium wheels that look just like these 6 spoke cbr wheels....cant find them though or figure out what wheels they are using.

These?

Thanks, I also read that the wheels were from Honda NSR250, so similar enough to yours (CBR600F2?3?)
Widths might be different.

Looks like NSR250 did come with Magnesium wheels in Japan: https://www.ebay.com/itm/265094705220?hash=item3db8e03044:g:OTgAAOSw0JtgVcHX

I'm not sure which allens to use for the fork stops the front end will get removed and drilled on the lower triple...

Are you planning on tapping the cast iron triple for these screws? I'm facing the same thing on one of my projects and I'm procrastinating since my whole shop is in boxes right now in a storage unit.

I'm wondering how JBWeld would hold up instead of breaking all of my cheap taps trying to thread the damn thing?

Yep, I was just going to drill, tap, and sink those puppies. Phil advised me to use the smaller allens so I wouldn't have spend time drilling bigger holes. There is a small gap between the stock lower stop and the top surface of the lower triple. I feel like if i use those smaller ones that they are short enough to undercut the stop, under load.....so im gonna use the larger ones.

Yeah I would too, what size are they?
Just tap carefully with lots of oil I guess right?
