I hope that's a casting imperfection and not a crack (4 seconds into the video).  Looks to be fine but worth sending a question before bidding.

Search "bringatrailer complaints", there have been problems, bringatrailer collects their commission, connects buyer and seller and rides off into the sunset.
Any problems are the buyers, like no title, not as described, terrible seller, to bad.

Legit, factory correction and very cool.

My impression is bikes sell for more on BAT than eBay.
You only go around once in life so it might as well be on a motorcycle.

Why is that, what is the cause ?

#5315 was listed on ebay twice in September for $33k (no bids) will be interesting what it sells for.

People are tired of paying eBay more money, so many list their bike where they keep more of sale price...  what would you do?

Ebay motors has changed how they do auctions. No % seller fee. I sold my Rickman CR750 on ebay this year. It is a flat $99 fee for either BaT or Ebay. I listed on BaT and was unsuccessful in hitting reserve (possibly due to civil unrest and rioting). I then listed on Ebay an couple months later and sold it within a week. Both sites are good for connecting to sellers to buyers. Both charge a $99 flat fee.

Joe..... minor difference. EBay now charges for the week, wether you sell or not. Vehicles.

BaT is also a 7 day auction and charges the fee whether it sells or not. They are essentially the same these days...

It's probably not the best time to sell but rich folks are mostly still rich. You just need to find that guy. Actually a few of those guys to bid.

Surprisingly it seems to be a great time to sell, going by the Bonhams auction the weekend before last - a lot of the bikes doubled their estimates, or even more, some very strong prices indeed. Bit disappointing for us bargain hunters!

Bringatrailer does not report reserve.
The ebay reserve was $33k.

If you got $30K at a big auction what would the fees be? Someone said it's 10% buyer and 10% seller at some of them, plus shipping to get it there. Would you get 1099'ed for taxes?  BAT might be the way to go.

I remember signing a 1099 form at an nhra division race at Indianapolis to get $150 for a fourth round win. I paid over $300 for entries, car and crew at the gate.

BringATrailer has 5 percent buyers fee.
5%of 30k is $1500 if it goes that high.

Well, all righty then. BAT is a good gig to own then.

I wonder if BAT has a team of writers to write the description. It's pretty difficult for an individual to be  have a breadth of knowledge required to skillfully sell the variety of machines coming up for sale. Fun gig if you can get it.

It's interesting to see that this sandcast is a much later example than the one currently being sold on ebay.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Honda-CB/193816985934?hash=item2d2064814e:g:7yYAAOSwxFhf3pGE

Yet, this one has plenty of reproduction parts as shown in the photos of the invoices and is bringing in a lot of money.  Undoubtedly a very good restoration.

Whereas, the other example seems to be a much earlier bike with original paint and unrestored condition.  I'd be betting on this one if I were in the market.

It looks as though the market seems to prefer museum quality restorations vs. original for some strange reason.
