George, you're thinking a "retired guy" like Mike should be trying to go faster? He needs to slow down man!

🤭

Not nice 😃

It was intended to be nice. He needs to slow down & smell the flowers for a change.

One can easily ride a stroker big bore engine slow, you just have the option of going faster…

Nah….it’s not an option. You’ll have to grab a handful, no matter what age.

L, my granddad was still laying rubber down in an old 70 caprice classic 427 before he gave up the ghost😇

Back in the end days of Funnybike I know guys were running nitrous with the turbo. The nitrous would get you off the line hard and then the turbo would kick in. I can't even imagine what cylinder pressure was at that nitrous/50lb boost overlap period.

Frank, I hope to have one finished this year.
My current Customer backlog in the shop should be finished in about 30 days at which time I can put some of my own parts in the machines.
Material and tooling are on hand waiting for an available machine. Lots of machine work to be completed for the complete engine build.
I have all my models and programs ready to go, I think. A few pictures attached to show what I am working on.

The main shaft will be spinning faster so the oil pump speed has to be reduced to prevent cavitation.

This cylinder head should flow about 11% more than Brent's DOHC Super Head according to my calculations.
Straight intakes and straight exhausts. Exhaust pipes barely clear the frame.
Aluminum billet for 7 of each, cylinders and heads, is in house ready for machining.

The DOHC frame provides plenty of head room.
Frame is already completed.

Thank you, it was my honor and pleasure.

Yep, the rockers have rollers on the shafts and rollers that replace the tappet screws.
Valve adjustment is made with varying thicknesses of valve stem lash caps.
The rocker arm geometry is a thing of beauty if I do say so myself.
Less than 1mm sweep across the lash caps at 11mm lift.

Impressive Kieth.  May I inquire about valve sizes and intended bore?
