Distributor drive....any ideas?
« on: December 25, 2020, 03:44:19 pm »
Came across this distributor drive recently with a great parts lot I got. It came with RC instructions but it's not the typical RC unit i'm familiar with.
Any ideas what it is? Early RC perhaps?

Looks like one piece mounts in place of your points cover, the other 90 degrees up from that.

Please post clear photos of each page of the instructions.

It looks like someone had all the parts except the cast RC housing that bolted to the motor in place of the points cover, and fabbed up a "substitute"?
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

There were others.. this looks like one of them, any gears with it .. it needs the crank gear, it might be in the  housing and one on distributor.
