Anybody ever use Union points
« on: February 20, 2007, 07:12:46 PM »
Thanks a brand, not a description. A seller on Ebay has them and I was wondering if they were a good aftermarket replacement.

Thanks.

I just lost two hours of build description text that described my year long build of my 350F cafe because my lap top is possessed by satin himself..when he appears, I am going to insert his head into his ass, until such time, I will tell you that some one said to me,do not buy anything but Honda OEM points made by Nippon Denso and another manufacturer that escapes me.  I didn't listen.  I then compared and bought the Nippon points...there is a huge difference, spend the money and stay away from ebay for these parts unless you know they are OEM, aforementioned parts.  People on ebay throw OEM and NOS around like it is a baseball....be cautious.  I was still able to get mine from the dealer.  Now to execute my lap top...don't laugh, my last DVD player saw 16 rounds of .40 caliber hollow points rip through its ass from my Glock 22..this expletive, expletive lap top is next...  I will re write my build history and drink and curse while I do it, you guys are great....

I totally agree, I`ve been down that road before and once is enough. Honda only used the following manufacturers for the contact points on our bikes.
They are Nippondenso( ND ), Hitachi , Kokusen or Toyo. Anything else is a cheap inferior knock off.

They might work satisfactorally  at first but then not much later you start having problems and end up chasing the wrong things because you know it can`t be you`re points, you just changed those. Causing all kinds of grief and heartache because the bike is sitting in pieces and you can`t trace it down. Can you tell this is from personal experience ? ::)
