[/quote]You still have the F cam in?
- It runs fine all over the rpm range or has it most power after 6000 rpm?

My pistons are under the top of the block. They need to come up a little.
Pistons are flush with mating surface without base gasket if I remember correctly. Thinnest head gasket will then create a squish ring of 1mm where piston meet head.

It's still in. I mentioned possibly removing it once but didn't. I haven't been on a dyno but the seat of my pants likes the power band. I don't generally see the upper end rpm's and still like the torque. That said, I also liked the Honda 77F cam.  To be honest, it had a new float valve that had issues and glazed the #1 plug. That took far too long to diagnose and replace.
I did put a portable O2 sensor in the 4-4 pipes that found my #1 cyl. fuel issue, the probe goes into a drilled stock baffle and samples near the head pipe.  The gauge plugs into the battery charger plug and clamps to the handlebars.

Santa stopped by, he looked a lot like my brother. We did a little trading and I ended up with a new in box Nicon scope made for a .22. It supposedly accounts for rimfire bullet drop, I'm not sure how that works, maybe the lenses are warped/angled a little and change with the X power it's set to.

A Santa backorder arrived yesterday, it appears to be two large printed circuit boards full of LED's that can be installed in my 69 firebirds tail lights. Since they are in a box I may work on them in the kitchen.
I'll need to evaluate the condition of the 69 lenses, the car was smacked in the rear twice and the sockets regularly needed work, I assume due to leakage at the car wash. I cured it by installing corvette light sockets that had ground wires, making a good chassis ground and greasing the bulb bases. Lesson learned that I keep in mind today.
