Anyone Use Giatlahue (also known as greatrace.com) for Parts
« on: January 12, 2021, 03:07:35 pm »
Hi Everyone, Happy New Year !

Hey, has anyone ever use Giatlahue for parts? I'm looking for CB550K parts and came across their website.

Primary Chain looks exactly like ones on EBay.

https://www.giatlahuep.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=745865

Cam Chain is by FORSETI (HONDA CB550 74-81CAM CHAIN 219H-88L). Anyone know anything about these chains?

https://www.giatlahuep.com/honda-cb550-7481-forseti-cam-chain-219h88l-camshaft-timing-p-745822.htm

The prices almost seem too good to be true and while I like a bargain I don't want crap and will pay for good quality.

Cheers, Darren

After a Google search it looks like a scam. Many of the photos are cut and pasted from Sirius Consolidated’s web site..
Here is what I found...

Giatlahuep, also known as Giatlahue, is listed as one of the fraudulent online stores due to the following drawbacks:-
Giatlahuep has a contact email address as CLOVER@CUKTER.COM. However, this email address is found to be used by multiple scam sites like Drugkemk, etc..

Links thell me no site which suggests my system is blocking it as a "bad" site
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

Cheers, Darren

I have another thread about the 550 bottom end and a member named Little_Phil told me about the Kawasaki Primary Chain (part # 92057-1011)

https://www.cmsnl.com/products/chain-drive_920571011/#.X_9oNhZ7laQ

These are going for € 46.50 at CMSNL.

The CB 550 primary Chain part #: 23131-323-003 is going for for € 107.00

https://www.cmsnl.com/products/chain_23131323003/#.X_9puBZ7laQ

Looking around I found this on the Old Bike Barn website:

High quality 50 link replacement primary chain for Honda 79-82 CB650 models. Just as good as OEM. Replaces OEM#92057-1011, 23131-426-003 & 23131-323-003.

Anyone else ever use the Kawasaki Chain? (not saying Phil isn't right, just wondering why not if it is the same part at half the price).

Cheers, dj
