CB450s 1986/cb450DX 1988 Engine Performance
« on: January 20, 2021, 10:01:16 AM »
Hi Guys,
Can you tell me if there was any significant performance differences between these two bikes?
The 450s was not sold in the UK, but mainly in Europe. They were both Brazilian bikes but the engines were slightly different, the cam was used in both bikes, carbs are different. Not sure about the gear boxes and they have different frame setups?
The 450s overall is a better looking bike but I'm not sure about the performance.
Thanks Busby

You can post questions about twins in the "other bikes" forum.

43 horsepower, 400lbs, decent brakes and frame geometry. Not a sportbike, but far from 70s vintage hardware too.
