1969/ 1970 airbox separator gasket
« on: January 21, 2021, 05:08:13 PM »
Does anyone have a source for the airbox separator gasket for a 1969 or possibly 1970 CB 750 airbox. The part for later airboxes, part No.17221-341-000 is slightly different and will not fit.

I purchased one of their boxes a few years ago, with the top mounts. I don’t think it came with a separator gasket (from memory)?

I agree.  I don’t think the 69 and 70 airboxes used a gasket between the top and bottom halves.

From the way I read the parts fiche the K0 did not have one but the K1 & K2 did, with two different part numbers respectively, 17221-300-000 & 17221-341-000. There was no evidence of one in my K0 air box.
