Honda CB650 1980 Cafe Racer Project
« on: June 09, 2024, 12:51:48 PM »
Hello everyone,

I’m a new member and want to share my project. A 1980 cb650 café racer project.

Rearset from Cognito Moto
Triple clamp from Cognito Moto
Hines 4-1 Exhaust
Keihin CR29 Carbs with velocity stacks
M Unit Blue electronics

Etc…

I’m on my way to dial in the carbs - not easy! If you have any ideas and thoughts for a starting point for the jettings, please let me know!

Thanks!

Can't help with the carbs but good luck and welcome to the forum.

BTW, nice looking bike!

Get an A/F probe in your exhaust to dial in your carbs. Helped me a ton.

Looks good! Do you have a brace (to the frame) for the carb rack?

Nice looking bike.  The frame looks like it's from the 1979 production.  The chassis looks more like the 550 than the cruiser frames that were produced from 1980-82.
