Left hand switch, CB750f
« on: January 24, 2021, 11:18:20 AM »
I'm having little luck finding a L/H switch for a 1976 SOHC . Some in America on Ebay but ridiculous postage. No stock at Silvers or LMS, one at DK but does'nt seem very good.  Anyone know of a UK breaker of CB750's ?, or a good spare for sale anywhere ?
Needed as part of  a winter full re-wire job.
Regards all.....

You would be better asking on the UK forum
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Have you tried <vintagecb750.com>? Their replica switches are about $50 and shipping is usually quite reasonable for small items.

Looked at a USA site but they warn of £25 import duties. Anything second hand on ebay looks like junk,  the problem was with my CB550f horn/passlamp button which was floppy and causing problems, the CB750 one gets rid of the passlamp bit. In the end, I've re-made the 550 switch without the pass bit, works OK now so I can retain the original switch .
Roll on summer.
