HI,

I'm the seller of this item.

The retract is because my password been hacked and the funny guy cancel all the bid..... good thing there 3 days left.

Also, this is a oem honda part. It is written on it. If you do a few research, it was the same model that was install for the CR750.

I'm not saying that this was on a CR750. But it's the same.

For your curiosity, this has been paid 600$ CDN in the seventies.

Honestly, I'm quite surprise on how high this item is going. But it will give me money the buy a Benjies Seat/tank combo.

i dont even want to imagine what a tach would have to do for me to be worth more than the purchase price of my bike, but congratulations on your find- that seat-tank from benji's is going to rock- how much did you snag the tach for and when?

Klark,

Bought 5 or 6 box of part coming from cb750 1974 to 1977. F an K. That part was in it I I didn't know nothing about it. But after a few search, I found what exactly it was. The last one sold on Ebay went for 1400$ US if I remember.

I'll tell you in a few day how much I paid for it.....but the funiest thing is that I got a second tach on hand!!!!! ;D

Hi Sam,

Good idea for the CR I think if I would go for a CR replica, I would had try to the at 100%. And by what I saw, It cost of the tach is 1/10 of a complete bike!!!

736 (andy) from this board  had one for sale  a little while ago, he may still have it as I don't remember it selling. I had a chance on that tach and I passed on it (stupid) as it was in a stach od hot rod cb750 parts I bought from a mutual friend.

Sam,

I have to admit that my first idea was a CR replica. But how do you arrange to still look hot when it is mount for road used?

To be honest, when I was building the CR for Chris, I thought it looked great without the fairing, still do.

With lights and a front fender, it would look the dogs bollocks ;D ;D ;D

Here's all the cr body work ;D  http://motorcyclebodywork.com/hondaz/CR7501969-77SINCAM.htm

Hi Webby, I have seen the Airtech products and don't rate them.

The equipment made by Bartel Engineering in Northern Ireland are perfect replicas and are very well made in aluminum.
