Topic: 550 vs 750 clutch pull

Do you guys who own both find either bike requires more effort to disengage clutch?  I don't know if it's the aftermarket cable on the 550, which came so long it required nearly the maximum adjustment at the lever to tighten the slack to spec, that makes it harder to pull, or just time to lube it again. It's already too long so it seems a waste of time to lube it.  Needs adjustment, first time, and I'm out of threads!

I have owned a couple 550's and a dozen or so 750's.  750's have always had lighter clutch pull than 550's given proper maintenance.  I think the 750 mechanism just has better mechanical advantage.

Thank you for your input!  I ordered some old cables that were made in Japan since they are discontinued and the old stuff seems to be better than what's made these days.  More expensive, but worth the extra dough in my opinion.
