I’ve gotten the first dose of phizer so far. Second is next week.
Felt slightly light headed like half hour after but I credit it more to being hungry than the shot. Later that night my arm was sore, felt like there was a bruise there but I only felt it if you put pressure on it or if I lifted my arm above my head. The next 2 days I felt a little out of it/lethargic. Really not all that bad but it definitely effected some test scores of mine that I took during that time.

I’m 27 and of average health.

Got my second dose yesterday. Arm was less sore this time around and I had a headache in the evening. Nothing major or out of the ordinary. Today I feel just fine. Other than my arm still being sore I feel absolutely nothing.

Got my 2nd Moderna vaccine last Wednesday and other than a repeat of the sore arm for 3 days or so, no side affects.
So, will be full vaccinated and have antibodies in another week.
I have been meeting with asmall men's group breakfast and Bible study for the duration of the Covid except during the quarantine lockdown period we had in the spring of2020 here in Arizona. Our group is largely compromised of guys in their late 40s to 70s and we were about 30 at start of pandemic and lots of guys quit coming due to heath risks or loved ones with high risk but they mostly have returned. Some guys had spouses with health issues or they had elderly parents who lived with them and they stayed home or kept their circle very tight to prevent risk to those loved ones. We have had two guys contract the virus during the pandemic and haven't had any spread within the group.
That is despite Tucson having pretty high virus rates.

Granted we didn't have the more transmissible UK virus but the D and G strains of the virus were more common in AZ...

Had my 1st dose of AstraZenica today.  A few hours after the jab I thought I was a bit light-headed, but then my wife pointed out I was drinking a beer...   ;D

Got my first jab of AstraZeneca yesterday. Was a little tired at the end of the night but I don't think it was from the shot, and no real soreness.

Mexico City and its environs will be managing vaccinations for some 20+ million people -- although outside of the actual Federal District it's left up to the states. The site was only 3/4 mile away but I drove because I thought I might be given a number and told to wait, and wanted to be able to wait in my car. That was a mistake -- traffic was crazy getting there and around the site. But once I found a spot to park, I was in and out in less than an hour, including waiting 20 mintues after the shot. Very, very well coordinated, and although we did not have any lucha libres on site (they are at some others), there was an orchestra playing where we all waiting. We are at the third phase of vaccinations and have a way to go before it's open to anyone 16+.

Now I found this thread.
Pfizer 1st shot April 28.

Pain in a stiff upper arm the day after.
The needle guy was determined to inject my right arm.
If doing the left, eventual heart issue can then been mixed up with the injection.

Pfizer no 2 will be done 6 weeks after the first, June 9.

I got the second dose of Moderna yesterday. My arm is maybe a bit more sore than the first dose, and I did have more aches and pains today than normal, along with some fatigue, but nothing major.
I was a bit surprised by the lack of participation at the distribution site both times. I was able to walk right in and get jabbed within a minute or two. Last time there were a handful of people waiting their 15 minutes, and yesterday there were 3, including me. By the time I left, there was no one waiting. They told me they're closing this site after this week.
It also seems a lot of folks around here don't seen to think masks are necessary anymore, even when a business requires one...

Just an urging to get the second shot if you are thinking about skipping it.

My friend Ray is in the hospital on oxygen after having contracted Covid following his first shot but before his second. He had a kidney transplant six months ago but he's a fighter, but he's miserable and fighting for air.

Around 10% of people in the USA are skipping their second shots.

Those not participating in the fight against this disease are taking a chance of becoming the host for a variant that could re-start the entire scenario.  This virus is suicidal, trying to kill it's host when possible. Apologies for the rant.

Got my first dose of AstraZeneca a week ago, into left arm. Small fever / headache the first night, took some paracetemol and plenty of water.

Right as rain the next day, injection site a little sore, but then again the Christian Brothers did much worse to it back in the day.

Here it is 12 weeks between shots, so have to wait for full protection.

Just got my 2nd dose of Pfizer about an hour ago along with my GF, her daughter and my daughter.
No sore shoulder for me yet but GF's is. So far I just need a nice nap, maybe a pint and a nap.

Got my second dose of Moderna on the 27th of March and that night just had arm soreness and went to the gym and worked out. Started to get the chills late in the evening and the next day felt body aches and felt crap enough and tired I took the day off work. Slept a lot and the next day felt better. Would do it again.

First day after my 2nd Pfizer shot. Woke up feeling all crunchy and achy, just the normal stuff. Kinda feel like I spent too much time in the sun. Last night my gf and daughter had low grade fevers. I was just tired, like too tired to function tired.

Had my first AstraZeneca vaccine two weeks ago. Felt aches and pains with moderate sweating during the first night. This was followed by two days of intense fatigue. My brother had no side effects with the same vaccine.

It was all worth it.

Had the second poke of the Oxford AZ last Sunday and like the first one, didn't flinch.  The Wife felt a bit feverish for 24 hours but all good generally.  She felt rough for 5 days after the first one (well that's what she made out anyway!).

OK then. As I expected everything reported here seems positive..... And the worst side effect has been to almost eliminate the flu season by wearing masks and social distancing as expected.

WHY ARE MORE OF THE PEOPLE NOT GETTING VACCINATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Do your share to help put a stop to this scourge. Don't be selfish. If you want to get the virus then that is your prerogative but do NOT pass it along.

A few (several maybe) weeks ago Massachusetts opened vaccination to everyone 16 and over, for a week now it's been open to ages 12 and over.

Vaccinations are way down in AZ, and less than 47% of the population has received at least one shot. It's even worse in Maricopa County (Phoenix metro area) at less than 32%, even though this area has had something like 60% of all cases and deaths in the state. People here have quit wearing masks; I hope they are vaccinated, but I seriously doubt most of them are. If you're not vaccinated and you chose to not wear a mask, it's all on you if you get sick...

I expect the numbers to look relatively good during the warm weather, but when it cools off later in the year the number of new cases may surprise some.
