Received the 2nd dose of the Moderna vaccine yesterday and it was easier than the 1st. Did not experience the fatigue that I had with the first dose and only some soreness in the arm this time. I did try to hydrate a little better for the 2nd shot and loaded up on the B-12.

EZPZ 8)

That fully hydrated and B12 seems like it could have helped me get over the 2nd shot easier,it's a good idea  ;)

Good to hear. Staying hydrated is always a good idea and I figured the B-12 might help prevent at least some of the fatigue. I could not think of a downside to either one, even if it only provides a psychological edge by taking proactive measures.  8)

Age 72. Got my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine last Tuesday. Again, no soreness or significant side effects other than mild fatigue. I'm perfectly willing to blame the fatigue on the vaccine rather than admit I often feel mild fatigue these days.

I got my first Moderna shot yesterday about 11 AM, and by 7 PM my arm was getting sore, so I took a Tylenol. Woke up in the middle of the night with a bad headache, but it was gone by this morning. My arm is still sore, but not that bad.
My neighbor got his first dose on Monday, and his arm hurt a LOT by yesterday, plus he had a fever, but he had Covid already.

First Pfizer, yesterday at 2:00pm. Local hospital in Peterborough ON. Very well organized, flowed through in 20-25 minutes. Very little soreness in the arm. Nothing else to report!

Received my second Pfizer shot yesterday morning, nothing at all to report, no more soreness in the arm than any other injection.  I feel great as any 71 year old that has been "run hard and put away wet'.

Friend who was in China a few years ago on business went into a herbal shop and without having uttered a word after entering Nigel was presented with a red box of Chinese herbal Viagra offering to sell him the box of course. Nigel is a naturalized citizen and former Brit, having moved to the US in '77 and is in his early to mid 60s now.
He uses some of a similar product now and reports it works and said they was another he had tried which was even more powerful... 😉

Moderna, no 4 hours of excitement, is it too late to get the Pfizer?

Got my first Pfizer today, took my GF, her daughter and my daughter for theirs too.

No side effects so far after a few hours, not even a sore shoulder.

I’ve gotten the first dose of phizer so far. Second is next week.
Felt slightly light headed like half hour after but I credit it more to being hungry than the shot. Later that night my arm was sore, felt like there was a bruise there but I only felt it if you put pressure on it or if I lifted my arm above my head. The next 2 days I felt a little out of it/lethargic. Really not all that bad but it definitely effected some test scores of mine that I took during that time.

I’m 27 and of average health.

I switched arms for the second, I'm not sure it made any difference. I was also light headed for a half hour, it reminded me of a half shot of alcohol.

My wife was told to flap her arms like a chicken to move the meds through the muscle tissue, we both did that, not only was it fun to watch but neither of us had felt real stiffness or anything more than we would have with any kind of shot really.
I did have a runny nose a week and a half after the 2nd shot but it was cold outside. So I stayed inside for a while then it just turned into a little snotty nose and some post nasal drip like one would have towards the end of having a cold , Everything feels clear now.

I'll be getting my 2nd shot in a couple weeks, first was was no big deal so we'll see how the 2nd one goes. My oldest son and his wife already had their 2nd shot, he said his arm was a lot more sore than the 1st shot but otherwise felt fine. My daughter inlaw though felt like s..t the next day with a fever but it only lasted a day and was fine after that.

Got the Pfizer.  (2 shots)   1st shot:  arm a little sore.   2nd shot:  arm less sore than first.  Not really any other symptoms.   Several of my coworkers reported flu-like symptoms that lasted about an day.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.
