While the airbox was setting up, started “winterizing”. Drained the carbs, dropped the bowls, floats and jets. Blew everything clean and dry and put it all back together. Battery is out and gave it a short charge.
In addition to the vintage air box, I’m going to work on the original pipes. The one on the lower right has a small hole on the underside, where the head pipe meets the muffler. It’s so low down that a small patch will be virtually invisible. None of them have any dings, so hoping they will clean up well enough to use.
These few changes will take the bike back to +95% “original”.
