« on: March 13, 2007, 08:59:15 AM »
so, dad saw the pics of the viper fairing on my 350 and said my stepmom wants a small sport type windscreen similar to mine to put on her toaster tank.

anyone have suggestions?

anyone have small fairing they would like to sell?

help me on this too... on the headlight of those bikes... isn't the instrument and key in the top of the headlight?

As far as I know, the /5 and /2 HL buckets are interchangeable, except the /5 has a cool little tach inside the speedometer.  Those assemblies are worth your left leg, BTW, because a lot of people putting newer engines in the /2 frames like having a tach while keeping the proper look.  AS you said, the "key" (which fits every /5 and /2 ever made) just pushes down or pulls up on the top, in front of the speedometer.
One of the best BMWs ever made, IMO.

I don't know what a Viper looks like, but Givi makes a cool little flyscreen.
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

thanks for the info ernie... here's the viper fairing newly installed on my 350.  mkramer and i did a trade and that's what ended up in my mailbox.  well, the mailbox was to small but, you get the picture  :D

i spoke w/ dad again last night and she thinks it might come back too far for her preference.  so maybe a flyscreen something like wardmoto has on his 350f.
