Crankcase nut/bolt missing?
« on: February 24, 2021, 02:36:12 PM »
Is there supposed to be a nut and bolt here at this corner of the crankcase halves? Looked thru the parts fiche but can't seem to figure it. Little oil sweat in the corner.

No, its a locating hole/fixing for machining
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
