Nippon Seike Gauges restauration
« on: March 01, 2021, 04:08:17 AM »
Good morning, I have a Honda CB500K2 and I want to restore the instruments. I painted the exterior with Motorredteile paint, it was very good. Now I need to restore the odometer numbers, the white numbers are gone. Would anyone know if it is possible to replace the numbers with a current odometer?

Nippon Seike Gauges restauration -Face Plate color
« Reply #2 on: March 01, 2021, 04:33:47 AM »

Another doubt I have is the correct color for the face plate. Does anyone know the Pantone or CYMK code for the blue/grey color? (my plates have the same color as the picture attached)

so according to the honda guide book and parts fiche ( USA). The K2 should have the bigger gauges and be slanted toward the driver.
Anyway, here's a color pic of a stock K2 speedometer .  Theres no color code. Honda would just say dark green, light green...

Thanks jlh3rd

My CB500K2 is a model for generral export, exported to Brazil, because this my gauges are the small model, I have a friend with a CB500K2 gold with the same gauges. I bought a sticker for the speedometer but its color is different from the original color. I will try to buy from cb750faces.com

I would like to print my own sticker, so I asked if anyone knew the color code.
