Nice looking bike.  In 200k, has the engine been opened much?

He said today,  maybe closer to 400K,so over 300 would not surprise me at all,
I have not ridden with him since around the 90s  but I can vouch for it being over 200 then.
So its 812 or 836 as far as I know .  I think it first  came apart at over 100 K. I THINK  it got main bearings maybe then. Topend may have been off a few  times.
His brothers K1 had 68K on it when i met him, I think that was end of 75. It now has estimated 160K on it, with bottom end unopened.... that one is 812 or 823, top end was off several times.  Its parked now.. I been trying  to aquire it..

Nickle plated, I remember when he did it. He chose nickle like his Champion frame.  I remember being in LA and it tarnishing  because of the air.
This bike has Morris mags, 16 inch rear.I may have mentioned a few times, if you think a 16 is bad fir cornering,  see if you can beat him with your 18 inch. He used to corner faster than me with his feet on the signal lights. The footings I think are welded and have bent upwards from cornering and grinding on the road..
At one time I supplied him with like 4 or 6 Goodyear AT tites with RWL.... by now he has probably used most of them.?
Also this is one where he got the upper part of the K2 forks chrome or nickle plated.

Frank, that has me excited as I am putting one together with a chrome swingarm...if only I could swing the whole frame!  Looks so good!  Is that a stock tank?  It looks little more slender at the front...could be the way the nice paint is reflecting light.
If it works good, it looks good...

Def not a stock gas tank. I can't see the back of the seat with the gear but it looks early almost like it may be a duck tail. Yes nice looking bike.

I think it's a Winning Performance  or Kerker with some of the end cut off.
Swingarm is nickled.  A bit safer than chroming , but may tarnish.
It always was the cleanest around, you could look at your hard to clean spots and it would be clean. That was an often made comment . Most of his bikes were like that..
 He has 3 H1 500,s a 69 and 70,s.. 3 different colors . Just as clean.,

Tank is fiberglass,  Don I think has some.. has K0  instruments I think seat  I think K 1 , if not maybe KO.
I have not seen it in at least 10 years, but ran into him today and found where he had some pics posted.
Actually lives about 5 miles away but rarely ever see him..

I know a few bits on it came from the old Racecrafters , I think it was in LA. Like light ears, and the tinned rubber fork caps, and a few other bits. Shocks are S&W   from before Street Strokers hit the scene..
Webco finned tappet covers,  Yamaha  rear disc and caliper..heavy.
This is one of the bikes I mentioned in the fork thread as having the waving lower fork legs problem..
Also the bike I mentioned having the fitting problems with the 4.10 TT 100. I think the front fender Is stainless off an H1.
