Bit thin for a generic washer and not dear from Honda, they regularly stick to the filter and get accidentaly bined

This is great info to archive like this, thank you BusTech51 for the measurements and pics, these will go NLA someday.

My 750k3 arrived without this washer back in 2001 and a Honda Dealer, North Reading Honda, Massachusetts (now defunct) knew what I was talking about and ordered me one. Good parts guys are hard to find, if you have a good guy at a dealership ask if he can match Internet prices and give them your parts business. It matters now more than ever before to support local businesses, not just here in the States.

I'll call around again and ask. Local Honda dealership wasn't able to track down circlips I needed but they referred me to a local shop that did have it.

cmsnl has it but of course shipping for one washer is not worth it https://www.cmsnl.com/honda-cb500k0-four-1971-usa_model459/seat-oil-spring_15414300000/

But that gives me a part number, 15414300000 and name, "oil spring seat"

These washers usually get stuck to the oil filter center hole and get thrown out with the dirty filter.

As mentioned in reply #2 so yes very common with the popular mention.

I did a top end rebuild a little bit ago, http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php/topic,183930.msg2129863.html#msg2129863 Circlips for the pistons. I was just saying how in the past, the Honda dealership was helpful, even when they didn't have the part.

Any good bolt/ hardware shop will sell thinner, hardened “shimming” washers. The ID is what matters. Years ago I bought a large handful for a few bucks. The other day I noticed I only have two left! I bet 9 out of 10 filters I pull for the first time are missing that part.

Yes. I'd fit one at the seal end and the other where the spring sits on the oil filter housing. The spring being harder the a the ali housing really isn't best practice imho.

Yes, but the spring is ground flat and you rarely see any damage there......

Since I live within a 45 minute drive of Vintage CB750 I find it easy to order stuff and I usually wait till people have placed  orders with me.  Then the shipping is free and that is when I order multiples of some things such as the oil filter washer.  That way i always have stock for myself and people i do work for on their bikes.  For example right now i probably have 12-13 of the washer because like BenelliSEI said they usually are missing when I change their oil.
