Carb kit Keihin

Can’t figure out what the washer with the question marks by it in the photo is.

Also have a red cardboard washer that appears to be to the float valve seat but I already have a metal one. Do I double them up or leave it out.

Thinking the washer is for the throttle rod, and goes just above the spring.

Diagram/parts list from the Yamiya kits that I used are pictured below. I think you may have the bowl drain washers and the vac. port washers switched.

I did not use the o-ring for the bowl drain as my K0 only had the washers to start with. That selection depends on the style of your drain screws. My float valves already had the red fiber washers. I stayed with those and did not use the metal washers provided.

The vac screw had a washer installed previously and the drain had an o-ring installed previously. So thinking that I got them correct. But not 100%.

The diagram is helpful!

Thin alu washer under the vac screw. The step bigger for float valve, stock was copper.
I have recently synched my K6 carbs and found some washers were missing, 3 of 4. I have a cheap repair kit with same type of washers as the only survivor.

StockRider and PeWe have definitely helped with some great info. But, not sure if this is solved yet.

Is there somewhere I should be looking for this info that I’m not?

What should I do here? Leave in what was there before? Match to the closest fit and guess?

Also, in each kit have 4 rubber o-rings that are the same size. 4 kits x 4 o-rings is 16. There are 2 T-connectors each with 4 o-rings for a total of 8 o-rings. So I have 8 extra o-rings or 2 extra o-rings per kit. Where do the other O-rings go? Or are these included for different carb variations?

The kit is the standard Honda carb kit: 16010-300-305

I think they have added extra o-rings.
Only o-rings I can recall are the 8 for 2 fuel T pipes, smaller for bowl drain screw.

The top rubber grommet is not included, right?

Ok the info that some T connectors took more o-rings helps!

Top grommet is included you can see the edge of it in my original photo.

Sounds like this all confirms what I thought.

Still can’t come up with what the washer with the question marks in my original photo is. Leaning toward that it is an alternative washer for the float valve seat for a slightly different carb?

Did confirm that it’s not for the throttle slide. In the diagram the throttle slide doesn’t have a 1 next to it. 1 represent the kit in the diagram. And it’s a crush washer...so yeah definitely not for the throttle slide.

As pointed out ealier the early K0 carbs I believe used a metal sealer on the drain screw rather then a rubber o-ring. Might be it ?

Went back rereading the thread and saw PeWe suggested it could be for the float valve seat (probably where I got the idea from). And Ekpents suggesting it could be for the drain screw. Both variations from the carbs I have.

Assuming now that the washer, whatever it’s for is probably not for my carbs and should just be left out.
