fuel line

1/4" doesn't seal and auto store stuff is too fat. 3/16 pulls the fittings out of the petcock during removal. Is the correct size 5.5mm? Where's the best place to get it? Low pressure or preferably genuine Honda preferable.

The experts on this forum might have a better answer, but the OEM 5.5 mm stuff fits perfectly, and is readily available.  JTMARKS77 on eBay sells the real stuff.

My K6 has Gates Barricade 1/4 fuel line. Clamped with 10-14mm mini clamps at petcock. Work fine.

Adapters after the first bend with 8mm to carbs fuel pipes.
I have lifted the tank at least 25 times the last few years. ;D

My K2 has tight grey hose from Yamiya that is easy on but a pain to remove. Thin screw driver to open it up and spray WD40 inside helps. Thin clips on that might not be needed

Bit late to the party but definately 5.5mm it does go hard at the ends with this ethanol fuel though

I have noticed it, too, even the red-striped stuff that is supposed to be 'ethanol resistant'. I use Honda's own. It does get stuck to the petcock and fuel tees, so I also grease them with silicone grease before installing the hose. That doesn't dissolve away with ethanol, but may well require that you use the little wire 'hose clamps' to ensure the hoses stay put.
