True Nippon Denso spark plugs:Made in Japan NOS
« on: March 16, 2021, 07:17:45 pm »
I am looking to purchase about 2) boxes of Real Made In Japan Nippon Denso spark plugs # X24ES-U rather than the Made In  China 'Denso' brand.. half the time these 'Denso' brand are counterfeited(even the repro's are counterfeited!) and will not fire correctly or last very long:a waste of $ imo.  ::)

NGK plugs  are also counterfeited. Good news is there's plenty of website that tell you how to tell the diff.

Ken,it's difficult to find the genuine plugs when sellers use pictures of the genuine ones to sell their 'products'.I just ordered 16) of "real" X24ES-U "made in japan" plugs (Not  ::))the other day, recd. them today and now I'll be returning them.. and looking for the Real ones where they come in a dark yellow box where the plastic protector sleeve fits tight to the threads, real nickle with two rings at the top of the porcelain.  I'll be content to find a box of 10) NOS ??

Sparkplugs.com had the real deal the last time I ordered from them.
That was a few years ago though so your results may vary now.

This is where your brick and mortar dealers are handy. They buy from distributors that don't deal in internet counterfeits.

Fair point. Having said that , I haven't yet received a fake plug but normally only buy them from ebay and it heavily leans in favour to the buyer. A real shame its come to this.

When purchasing NGK's,I've never been disappointed when sourcing them through big-name autoparts stores like Napa & Autozone:they're genuine.I've lost trust in the quality of just 'denso' brand though. The NOS ND's are very difficult to source..
