Carb Electronic Syncronizer for My Hona CB500K2
« on: March 17, 2021, 05:32:33 PM »
People;

I mada a Carb Electronic Syncronizer for My Hona CB500K2, I used Bosch Car Map sensors and some electronics parts and an Arduino to make my device.

I can read Absolute pressure, VAcuum and two Syncro carbs on a LCD display.  Now I can use this instead my vacuum gauges....

Pictures attached.

Looks nice. I still use my mercury gages I made many years ago. I have used the newer Motion Pro carb tuner and the Morgan Tune but both have me trouble after some use. I have been looking at this tool, looks like a nice tool if you cant build your own.

Any reviews or videos out there for this? First im hearing of it and its peked my interest. I need to invest in a carb sync tool and this looks pretty good. And not all that much more then an analog setup.

I can't track down my Morgan Carbtune, after moving a few too many times. I've been tempted to pull the trigger on the DigiSync. I haven't seen much talk around here about it. There is a thread with a decent amount of info over at advrider (https://advrider.com/f/threads/new-digi-sync-digital-carb-sync-tool.1245504/)

Digisync has been around for a while. I have been trying to get my friend who owns (2) 6 cylinder CBX's to buy one. The Morgan tune I have used ended up getting gummed up and pretty much was useless.

Craz1, Digisync really is a great product.
I live in brazil, import costs are very high for us. A purchase of one hundred and fifty dollars costs us more than four hundred and sixty dollars .... Because of this it became "cheaper" to make my own synchronizer. If I had a six-cylinder CBX and I lived in the USA, I would definitely buy a Digisync.
I have an original 1973 CB500K2,
without the original 4x4 exhausts

We have a DigiSync four channel. It works great and is easy to use. It also has an accurate tach to help with tuning. 8)

This is really cool. Care to share some plans or diagrams on how you built it? Sounds like a fun project.
