to big of a file

Why is it that whn I want to post a picture on the tech board I always get a message that my file is to big ???

It has to be a very small file, I have to use the smallest resolution on my junk camera to get it that small.

For screen resolution you only need 72 DPI.  If that does not do it, change the size to 640 x 480, for example.

I highly recomend a photobucket account. It is free and if you post on different sites it is quite handy. If you reduce your images to post here they are kind of poor quality. With the photobucket acct. you upload your pics in high quality where they remain stored. Phototbucket will make you a link and you copy the link into your post and VOILA, you have nice big pics for all to see.
