Can you ID these saddlebags?
« on: April 04, 2021, 03:57:00 AM »
I've searched the net and can't figure out who made these saddlebags. I've looked at pictures of Shoei, Bates, Wixco and I think others and have yet to see anything similar:

No idea who made them but if you buy the bike and want to sell them let me know. I see the bike is in RI - I am in Boston so I could come collect.

I bought it a few days ago from the owner in RI.  I live in the middle of Cape Cod. I'm not sure what I'll do about the bags but if I sell them you'll be first in line, thanks.

Quite the period touring rig for a 550. Looks like the bike was well taken care of. I'd almost bet an internet beer that it was an original owner machine  ;)

You would win the bet. In addition to the bags and trunk, it's got a cassette radio, cigarette lighter and CB antenna (unfortunately, no CB radio). 6430 miles. It was last registered in 1991 and the owner did a good job storing it.

I dont know anything about anything motorcycles. But Could these be honda factory direct? I ask that because the rear frame extensions for the turn signals look factory. And the bags look like they were made to fit that frame so it looks factory to me

Could be a Hondaline product.
