Quick Petcock Question

what port is what?
i'm assuming one is for vacuum and the other is for fuel.

i have a 77 cb750, and am putting this older tank on it.

they should both be for fuel. on my 74 cb750 there are two fuel lines feeding the carbs.

Why do you have only 1 line feeding your carbs?

Why do you have only 1 line feeding your carbs?

i believe i do, i have one line coming off the original tank's petcock (didn't check if it splits to 2 though)

that is my stock tank
you can see the single line coming off the petcock

i'm trying to see if i have a picture of the carbs to check to see if the line splits off

or perhaps just have 2 lines go into 1 via "Y" splitter?

Yes, you can block one off.  The petcock has it's own log.

Be carefull of the bung size.  Some petcocks only fit on smaller or larger bungs.  I thought the earlier two outlet petcocks fit on smaller bungs.  I don't have them all on hand to verify that, though.  I dunno, maybe it was a 78 thing.  Just check that before you buy.
