Recognize this Tail Light??
« on: April 01, 2021, 06:34:54 PM »
My latest project has a 1975 tail light. Probably came from “Carlini’s Cycle Creations” in Dearborn Michigan, along with most of the other parts. The tail light lens is damaged. In the centre of the red portion, there is a horse head (Mustang?) in profile. Just a raised outline. I’ll take a better photo this weekend. Does anyone recognize it or know where I might find a replacement lens?

if it's  for m/cs it may be list in an EMGO part catalogue.

You can get the pdfs here-  http://www.emgo.com/index.php/catalogs

Lots of bits n bobs in those catalogues for our old Honda SOHC 4s.

You guys got it! Thanks. The one on EBay is worse than mine. Now I know what I want, I’ll keep searching!

There are reproductions of both the light and the individual lenses being made.  I have not seen any with the DS Knight logo which may be patented.  Here's one of the repopped lights  mericanclassicmotors.com/products/chrome-square-knight-light-tail-lamp-red-lens-custom-chopper-harley-ironhead-flh

Prism Supply makes a very nice near copy but it is $$$!
